About the Munich Conference:The Munich Conference was held to please Hitler's wants, he wanted to annex Austria and take a hold of other places in Europe, "Like almost everyone in Europe, including most Germans, Chamberlain thought that practically anything was preferable to a repeat of the war of 1914-18. (Cavendish, n.d.) The quote illustrates the fact that there was no desire for war which is why the conference was held in the first place. They would much rather have Hitler be satisfied so he would not stop the peace.

What was the Munich Conference? |
The Munich Conference was a conference made to settle problems that were occurring in Germany because of Hitler. As mentioned before Hitler was trying to take control of other countries besides Germany which he already lead. In this conference everyone had decided it would be best to give Hitler what he wanted so that another big war wouldn't start because the world had just gotten out of WWI. This desire for peace did not end the way it was intended to; "At Munich Hitler gained what he wanted – the domination of Central Europe – and German troops marched into the Sudetenland on the night of October 1st. (Cavendish, n.d.)
